Fingerpickin' Good

More Than Just a Name
The Orchestra name was given to this model in 1929 in an attempt to entice guitarists in dance orchestras to pick one up and take it to a gig. In more recent years, it has become a go-to instrument for finger pickers, due to its sensitive dynamic profile and subtle tonal properties. It provides a more carefully sculpted sound than a big bodied acoustic.

Another excellent guitar from Eastman's Pacific Coast Highway series, the PCH2-OM is a short-scale OM with a solid Sitka spruce top and laminated rosewood on the back and sides that comes in at a truly incredible value. The dark sepia stain on top gives the guitar a classic, vintage look, but the sound is modern and full with lovely sustain for a short scale guitar. It's an ideal candidate for someone's first guitar, or even a backup for a player who still wants a quality instrument without breaking the bank. The PCH2-OM comes with a deluxe Eastman gig bag for protection and easy transportation.
