The Fender® Custom Shop 1962 Bass VI Super Heavy Relic® delivers the unique versatility and sonic depth that made the original Bass VI a studio staple. Built with a select two-piece alder body and finished in nitrocellulose lacquer with a Super Heavy Relic® treatment, this instrument captures the essence of a well-played vintage classic.
The quartersawn maple neck features a comfortable 60 Style Oval “C” Back Shape that's equally suited to bass lines and guitar-style playing, while the 3A rosewood fingerboard provides warm, articulate response. Three Custom Shop Hand-Wound Flat Magnet Jaguar® pickups deliver the distinctive Bass VI tone, with individual on/off switches for tonal flexibility.
