The BC-16E is a full-scale acoustic-electric bass with spruce and rosewood tonewoods, powerful projection, and E1 electronics. With a cutaway design and smooth playability, it’s built to bring bold low-end anywhere.

The Martin BC-16E acoustic-electric bass brings the low-end to the 16 Series. Handcrafted in our Nazareth factory, this full-scale satin bass boasts a resonant spruce top paired with East Indian rosewood back and sides that offer a well-balanced tone for all playing styles. Its Grand Auditorium body size provides plenty of projection, while a cutaway gives you even more room to thump those high notes with ease. Equipped with Martin E1 electronics, the BC-16E lets you sculpt your sound with onboard controls for volume, tone, and phase, while the built-in chromatic tuner ensures accurate tuning without the need for plugging in. This bass is ready to help you unleash your inner artist, wherever your musical journey takes you.
