The D-16E blends Dreadnought power with Auditorium comfort and comes in rosewood or mahogany. With a solid spruce top, satin finish, and E1 electronics, it’s a versatile acoustic-electric built for any performance.

The Martin D-16E acoustic-electric offers players a sleek and comfortable Dreadnought-style guitar. Handcrafted in our Nazareth factory as part of the 16 Series, its body shape combines the power and projection of the iconic Dreadnought with the depth and comfort of an Auditorium (000) model. At its core lies a resonant satin spruce top, paired with your choice of East Indian rosewood or mahogany satin back and sides. Equipped with Martin E1 electronics, the D-16E lets you sculpt your sound with onboard controls for volume, tone, and phase, while the built-in chromatic tuner ensures accurate tuning without the need for plugging in.
